First Duchy of France, Uzès is a city of art and history. The « Place aux herbes » houses,and Wednesday and Saturday ,a provencal market. In pacing the countless alleys paved, you can visit : The Cathedral St-Théodorit, the Tour Fenestrelle, the Duchy of Uzès (Ducal Castle) the medieval garden...
Le Pont du Gard (28km)
It was built in the 1st century BC by the Romans in just five years.
the « Pont du Gard » is National monument since1840 and has join the world heritage of Unesco. This aqueduct brought water of Uzès ( where the source « The Eure ») to Nîmes.
Avignon (50km)
Known for exceptional sites ,Avignon is a city that attracts a lot of tourists : The « Palais des Papes » built in the 14th century, the « Pont St Benezet » dating from the 12th century...But also its ramparts, its Cathedral « Notre-Dame des Doms »...
Vézénobres (19km)
On the road of Anduze you can stop in this medieval village ranked among « Beautiful villages of France ».
Leaning against a rocky spur, guests are walking the small streets and admire the panorama on the Gardon Valley  and the Cévennes mountains.
Anduze (31km)
Located at the doors of Cévennes near of Bamboo forest and « Trabuc » cave, this authentic small town is famous for its potteries. You will find the Tower of the clock, the covered square and its « Pagode » fountain.
La Bambouseraie (34km)
The bamboo forest, near Anduze, created by Eugène Mazel in 1856, has many varieties of bamboo and centenarian trees. You will immerse for a few hours walk of an exotic universe where all the elements of nature are gathered for a relaxing moment.
Nîmes (30km)
A must-see during your stay in the Gard. Nîmes, Roman city will delight you with its monuments : « Les Arènes », « La Maison carrée », « Le jardin de la fontaine », « La Tout Magne », « Le Temple de Diane » are the jewels of this city.
Aigues Mortes (65km)
With its 1600m of ramparts built by St'Louis in the 13th century, this small fortified town has kept an undeniable charm. After a visit or a lunch on the main square, you will discover the salt marsh and « The Camargue » which has preserved its wild charm, with its bulls, horses and pink flamingos.
Arles (60km)
« City of Art and history » Arles has a lot of Roman remains : « Le théatre Antique » « Les Arènes » « Les Alyscamps (nécropolis), and also its Museum « Van Gogh Foundation »... Arles is also very known for the photographies events.
St Quentin la Poterie (15km)
Village of Art and Craft, renowned for its pottery and ceramics Museum. Market day on Friday with local producers.
Lussan (24km)
Lussan, labelled « Village and city of character » is a medieval village encircled by its ramparts. It offers a unobstructed view on the « Mont Bouquet » and the Cevennes mountain.
La Roque sur Cèze (38km)
Small Medieval village labeled « Most beautiful village of France » with its Chapel and Castel dating the 10th centuryand the views of « Sautadet » waterfalls.
